DC Switches: On-load operation
DC Switches are engineered to both close (make) and open (break) circuits under on-load conditions at their rated current. This enables operators to actuate the switch without first shutting down the system, maintaining continuity of critical loads. Vacuum encapsulated contacts isolate internal components from moisture, corrosive vapours, and conductive dust, suppressing arcing and extending service life. Link: View DC Switches
DC Disconnectors: Off-load isolation
DC Disconnectors provide a secure, clearly defined isolation point within the circuit. Employing a large, visible open gap, they give operators full confidence that the circuit has been de-energised before maintenance or system work begins. Fixed and deformable versions
G Corner disconnectors are available in both fixed and deformable versions. Deformable units absorb the expansion and contraction of busbars during thermal cycling, removing the need for additional flexible busbars and reducing the overall cost and complexity of the system.
