G Corner can supply a range of tankhouse equipment to support electro-refining and particularly electrowinning operations, from individual replacement items through to full equipment packages for small scale plants such as prototype or demonstration plants.

Procuring through G Corner allows the package to be sourced and supplied as a single package with G Corner responsible for all the design integration.
G Corner can supply packages containing Anodes, cathodes, cells, cell top furniture, all our regular busbar system equipment and any hoods or cell ventilation system required.
We supply the key consumable and capital items required at the cell level for electrowinning and electro-refining operations. Drawing on long-standing partnerships with specialist manufacturers, we are able to offer both individual items and complete equipment packages, coordinated through a single relationship.
Purchasing a complete equipment package or adding other equipment into G Corner’s core busbar system and switch equipment expanding G Corner’s scope of supply, allows G Corner’s engineering team to take on the task of managing the integration of this equipment into the overall tankhouse design. G Corner have an experienced team of design engineers who can integrate 3D models from different items of equipment into one single master 3D model for verification with the client.

Anodes
G Corner has a long-standing partnership with one of the world's leading manufacturers of rolled-lead anodes for copper electrowinning.
Anodes are produced from high-quality rolled lead blades using a tin-lead-calcium alloy, providing exceptional chemical and mechanical stability and an extended service life compared to conventional cast-lead alternatives.
Key features:
- High conductivity, high strength copper header and hanger bar
- Fully encapsulated antimonial lead casting around the header and hanger bar
- Superior quality lead welding of the anode blade to the header and hanger bar
- Fine grain structure with no cracks or voids and perfect flatness
G Corner can also supplies anode separators and anode bags to support electrowinning operations in copper, nickel, cobalt, and zinc refineries.
Cathodes
G Corner can supply stainless steel permanent cathode blanks for copper electrowinning and electro-refining.
Cathode blanks are custom-built to fit each individual tankhouse. Hanger bars are manufactured from high conductivity, high strength copper with a high-strength metallurgical bond to the stainless steel encapsulation. Cathode sheets are welded to the hanger bars using a similar metal weld.
G Corner can also supply cathode edge strips for copper refining and copper electrowinning applications.
Rolled-lead anodes for copper electrowinning
The rolled lead anodes supplied by G Corner are produced using a tin-lead-calcium alloy, delivering a finer grain structure, greater mechanical stability, and a significantly extended service life compared to conventional cast-lead alternatives. Produced in partnership with one of the world's leading rolled-lead anode manufacturers.
Custom-built stainless steel cathodes
G Cornercan supply stainless steel permanent cathode blanks which are custom-designed to fit each individual cell / tankhouse set up, with no standard dimensions imposed. High conductivity copper hanger bars are bonded to the stainless steel encapsulation using a high-strength metallurgical process, and cathode sheets are welded using a similar metal weld for maximum integrity.
